Somali government forces claim victory over Jilib fighting more then 10 people have been killed and nearly 70 injured.

In an interview with voa commender of the somali forces said that early Saturday morning they attacked al shabaab fighters in the districts of Jilib and jamaame lower shabeelle.
the commander stressed they seized at least three military trenches from what he call the extremist group Al shabaab.
The commender also pointed out 7 soldiers including amilitery officer were kill in the combat mentioning 10 other injured.
On the ather hand the spokesman of Al shabaab fighters sheikh ali dheere claimed they were attacked but said they rebelled what he called african Christian and their apostate tfg fighters.
The spokenman al shabaab sheikh ali dheere stated that their fighter killed 15 african soldiers and 20 somali soldiers including a military officer in the battles.
The fighting on Saturday was particularly the heaviest in the last few weeks said voa.
